1. OVERVIEW — OUR PRIVACY APPROACH
AlarmGoo is designed with privacy by default. The App functions primarily on your local device. Most of your data — including all alarms, settings, challenge preferences, ringtone selections, and wake-up history — is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
We collect very limited information:
- Your email address (for account identification)
- Diagnostic data (crash reports and error logs, to fix bugs)
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in this Policy.
2. Information We Collect

- Send important service-related communications
(e.g., subscription confirmations, support replies) We do NOT use your email for marketing without your explicit consent.
b) BASIC PROFILE INFORMATION (via Google Sign-In)
When you choose to sign in with Google, Google may share your display name and profile picture with us. This information is used only to personalize your in-app experience (e.g., showing your name in the Settings screen).
2.2 INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
a) CRASH REPORTS AND ERROR LOGS ("Diagnostic Data")
If the App crashes or encounters a technical error, we may automatically collect limited diagnostic information, including:
- The type of error or crash
- The screen or feature where the error occurred
- Your device type and operating system version
- App version number
- Timestamp of the error
- Whether an alarm failed to fire as scheduled
This data is collected anonymously or pseudonymously and is used ONLY to identify and fix bugs, improve app stability, and ensure alarms work correctly on all device types.
We do NOT collect: your alarm times, your chosen wake-up phrases, your challenge answers, your location, your contacts, your camera or microphone data, or any other personal content.
b) SUBSCRIPTION STATUS
We store your subscription plan status (Free Trial, Pro, or Free) linked to your account to ensure features are correctly unlocked or restricted. This is managed through RevenueCat (our subscription management provider) and the App Store / Play Store.
2.3 INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
We explicitly do NOT collect:
- Your physical location or GPS data
- Your contacts or address book
- Your camera or photos
- Your microphone or audio recordings
- Your browsing history
- Your call logs or SMS
- Any biometric data
- Any financial or payment card information
(all payments are processed by Apple/Google)
- The content of your typed wake-up phrases
- Your alarm schedules or times (these stay on your device)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
